    renowned for its yard brutality. As a
    loner, naturally he was a target and
    every day was a knife-edge of being
    neither too soft nor too hard in
    character to bring attention to
    himself. Every day in this aspect, was
    a day without success. He didn't have
    to wait too long before the violence

    a bell: the brutal end of my life. The heinous words
    and deeds of he who killed me rang in my ears and
    burned into my retina. I watched my blood run and
    my body brace as the cold steel repeatedly fell. I
    witnessed in the flame the end of my innocence
    hailed in a word; one solitary word, thudding and
    thick – pounding on my ear like a gunshot blast,
    and clinking off the tongue like a spent shell
